The Baltimore Ravens beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 on Sunday night at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, winning on a 56-yard field goal by Tyler Loop as time expired. The game was the NFL's third regular-season game in Brazil and its first in Rio; the league's two previous Brazil games were played at Neo Química Arena in São Paulo. The announced crowd was 72,792, according to CBS Baltimore.
The final two minutes
The lead changed hands three times in the last two minutes, per Pro Football Talk. Lamar Jackson put Baltimore ahead 31-28 with a 2-yard touchdown pass on third down to rookie tight end Matt Hibner. Dallas answered by driving to the Baltimore 2-yard line, helped by a pass interference call on Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins that Baltimore argued should have been offensive pass interference on CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys settled for a 23-yard Brandon Aubrey field goal that tied the game 31-31 with seven seconds left.
After the ensuing touchback, Jackson hit Zay Flowers for 27 yards to the Dallas 38-yard line, and the Ravens used their final timeout with one second on the clock. Loop's 56-yard attempt went through to end the game.
The numbers
- Lamar Jackson: 15 of 20 passing for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns; 6 carries for 50 yards
- Derrick Henry: 26 carries for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns
- Zay Flowers: 5 catches for 84 yards
- Dak Prescott: 25 of 40 passing for 276 yards and 1 touchdown
- CeeDee Lamb: 7 catches for 112 yards

Baltimore led 24-13 in the third quarter before Dallas rallied. Henry's two touchdowns and 89 yards moved him to ninth on the NFL's career rushing list, per CBS Baltimore. The Ravens also lost centers Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic to injuries during the game.
Flowers signed a four-year, $140 million extension with Baltimore in August. The Ravens, in their first season under head coach Jesse Minter, are now 2-1. Dallas fell to 1-2 two weeks after its 28-20 loss to the Giants in John Harbaugh's first game as New York's head coach.
