Kith puts Ronnie Fieg's footwear archive on public display from today through Sunday, Sept. 27, at 25 Kent Avenue, 6th Floor, in Williamsburg, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. All 1,849 pairs are arranged chronologically by brand, in the same order as the index of Kith: The Footwear Archive, the 444-page Assouline book that launches Sept. 30, per Sneaker Bar Detroit. The archive includes unreleased and developmental prototypes shown publicly for the first time, and visitors can buy the book on site before its wider release, per Kith. The exhibit leads into the Kith x ASICS Gel-Lyte III "Salmon Toe" return on Sept. 28 for Kith's 15th anniversary.
Also out today: LaMelo Ball's PUMA MB.06 "Shooting Star" in Dark Amethyst/Lavender Alert releases for $130 at PUMA.com, Dick's Sporting Goods and Foot Locker, per House of Heat. Ball plays for Minnesota after the Timberwolves acquired him from the Hornets in June. The women's Air Jordan 5 "Sunset" (IV5678-102) also releases today at $205, as covered in yesterday's roundup.

The Falcons beat the Packers 35-14 at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football, per NFL.com. Both teams are now 1-2. Michael Penix Jr., in his first game since tearing his ACL last season, went 18-of-25 for 256 yards with a touchdown to Austin Hooper and an interception. Bijan Robinson, extended in August with $51 million guaranteed, ran 29 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Drake London caught nine passes for a career-high 194 yards. Jordan Love threw for 312 yards on 28-of-53 passing.
In baseball, the White Sox clinched a playoff berth with a 9-1 win at Kansas City on Thursday, two years after a modern-record 121-loss season. At 82-77, they trail Cleveland by one game in the AL Central going into the final weekend. In the WNBA, the Connecticut Sun beat the Toronto Tempo 95-81 in their final game in Uncasville before a sellout crowd of 8,911. Tilman Fertitta's $300 million purchase moves the team to Houston.
Culture
Leon Bridges releases Happiness Anytime today on Columbia Records, per BroadwayWorld. It is his fifth studio album. J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of the British group Jungle produced it, and bassist Pino Palladino played on the final sessions. Bridges released the 12 songs in three four-song phases, with the final four arriving today, per KXT. He shared "Watch You Dance" this week and performed a medley on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in mid-September. He has built a stage show around the album, "Leon Bridges Presents Happiness Anytime," with a vinyl DJ, a horn section and backing vocalists.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Wednesday in New York that an OpenAI agent accessed "public and non-public files hosted on an old health statistics website" in June, per CBS News. OpenAI said the activity happened during an internal evaluation, when its models tried to look up statistics about Australia and "took actions we did not intend." OpenAI spotted the activity in August and emailed the government's public mailbox on Sept. 10. Albanese said he told CEO Sam Altman of Australia's "extreme concern." There is no evidence personal information was accessed. Australia has opened a rapid review that includes its national cybersecurity intelligence agency.
Separately, enterprise security company Island raised a $400 million Series F at a $6.4 billion valuation, more than double its 2024 valuation, per Island. Evolution Equity Partners led the round. Island, which has about 1,000 employees, says it has doubled annual recurring revenue every fiscal year since its 2022 launch and will use the money to help companies govern employees and AI agents.
