The first drop is the Air Jordan "Black Pack": the Air Jordan 14 Low and 16 release Oct. 3, and the 15 and 17 Low follow Nov. 7, each in a mostly black colorway with an exotic-inspired material. The Air Jordan 16 retails for $245 at Nike NBHD retailers. The site's Holiday 2026 lookbook also debuts Levi's, Social Status, JAIDE and SoleFly projects.
Friday, Sept. 25, brings J Balvin's Air Jordan 4 "Lemonade" (IW2872-700) for $225 through Balvin's online store, SNKRS and select retailers. The upper is croc-textured leather in all-over yellow, with "JUST DO IT." and "SOLO HAZLO." etched into the deubrés. It was the headline pair on our September release calendar. The same day, the women's Air Jordan 5 "Sunset" (IV5678-102) returns for $205, its first release since 2006.
Further out, Nike's Air Force 1 Low '01 "Subway Rat" (IV6999-001) releases Oct. 7 for $150 in shaggy College Grey suede, with a hangtag modeled on the MetroCard the MTA stopped selling on Dec. 31, 2025.

The Falcons (0-2) visit the Packers (1-1) at Lambeau Field tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video to open Week 3. Rice is tied for the AL lead with Pete Alonso, Junior Caminero and Yordan Alvarez, and New York is assured of hosting a best-of-three Wild Card Series starting Tuesday.
The WNBA regular season closed Wednesday. The Dream beat the Liberty 83-65 at Barclays Center to secure home court in the first round, and the Wings beat the Storm 103-91 and enter the playoffs as the No. 7 seed, per Sunday Guardian Live. The playoffs begin Saturday.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opened Tuesday in Los Angeles' Exposition Park, 16 years after it was first announced and after proposals in San Francisco and Chicago. George Lucas and Mellody Hobson funded the roughly $1 billion building privately. It shows more than 1,300 works across more than 30 galleries, with "Star Wars" filling about 7%. In Oakland federal court, U.S. District Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin holds a hearing at 11 a.m. PT today on the settlement between Paramount and the state attorneys general over its Warner Bros. Discovery takeover. The proposed decree requires 30 films a year for two years, then 32 a year for three years, plus $300 million a year for five years in added U.S. film production, MyNewsLA reports.
And YouTube renewed its exclusive Coachella livestream deal with Goldenvoice through 2030. The partnership reaches 15 years in April 2027.

Meta unveiled its $1,299.99 VR Glasses at Connect 2026 on Wednesday. The frames weigh about 100 grams because the chip, battery and storage sit in a tethered puck, and the device goes on sale in spring 2027, according to Meta's announcement. Meta also introduced Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its first camera-free glasses, at $349 shipping Oct. 13, and Muse Charm, a keychain device for its Muse AI agent due in December.
Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5, released Tuesday, cuts Opus API prices to $4/$20 per million input/output tokens from $5/$25, and Anthropic says it costs 40% less to run than Opus 5 on typical workloads.
In funding, Ema raised a $77 million Series B led by Creaegis, with Accel, S32 and Prosus returning, bringing its total to $140 million, the company announced. Ema sells AI agents for HR, IT and finance work; customers include Wipro, Hitachi, ADP and PwC.
