Jordan Brand releases the Air Jordan 9 Low "What The Kilroy" on August 14 for $180, through Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers. Jordan Brand has not announced a launch time. The style code is IV6476-010 and the official colorway is Black/Deep Royal Blue-White-Challenge Red.
The shoe collapses an entire six-pair collection into a single asymmetrical low-top. In 2012, Jordan Brand released the Kilroy Pack: six Air Jordan 9s, each built around a Michael Jordan alter ego — Johnny Kilroy, Motorboat Jones, Bentley Ellis, Slim Jenkins, Calvin Bailey and Fontay Montana. The characters appeared briefly in campaign material, but the names stuck. This release brings all six personas together for the first time in 14 years.
The two shoes do not match. The left is black leather with dark blue wrapping the lower half, orange midsole accents, yellow lining and white laces. The right is red leather with black overlays, light blue lining and black laces. The detailing carries the concept further: tongue tags spell out the character names, the insoles stack Jumpman logos, the heels are embroidered with "23" and "4," and "KILROY WAS HERE" is printed behind the tongues.

It is not the only Air Jordan 9 on the calendar: the OG "Space Jam" returns September 19 at $215. The Air Jordan 7 "Miro" got its first general release this year, 18 years after the original.
