The NBA tips off its 2026-27 season tonight with 11 games, and the headliner finds Warriors at Lakers closing out the night at Crypto.com Arena. It's also a league-wide opening night, with ten games before it and a loaded Champions League slate from Europe.
Marquee: Warriors at Lakers
This is Luka Doncic's team now. LeBron James left for Philadelphia in free agency, and the Lakers rebuilt around Doncic, bringing in Walker Kessler, Quentin Grimes, and Collin Sexton while losing Deandre Ayton, Marcus Smart, and Rui Hachimura. Steph Curry and the Warriors won three of four meetings against LA last season, but this is a different Lakers roster, and nobody's quite sure what it looks like yet.
Per ESPN, the Lakers are 5.5-point favorites with the total set at 234.5. Check the day-of injury report before the 10pm ET tip, since both teams are still settling rotations.
- Tip: 10:00 PM ET, Crypto.com Arena
- Broadcast: ESPN
- Vegas: Lakers -5.5, o/u 234.5
