The watch picks model isn't live yet, so only tonight's marquee carries a Vegas line. For the full real-time slate, head to watch.uristocrat.com.
October baseball owns the night. The Yankees and Rays are two games into their ALDS, and Game 2 from Tropicana Field could put New York in a commanding spot or even the series right back up. Around it, the White Sox and Guardians play their own ALDS Game 2 in Cleveland, three NHL clubs open their seasons, and the Falcons and Saints close the night on Monday Night Football.
Marquee: Yankees at Rays, ALDS Game 2 (8:00 PM ET, TBS/truTV)
Tampa Bay won the AL East and went 8-2 against New York in the regular season, outscoring the Yankees 47-34 across those ten games. None of that matters if the Yankees take Game 2 on the road. Cam Schlittler gets the ball for New York against Freddy Peralta, and a win here would put the Rays in a 0-2 hole heading back up to the Bronx. Lose it, and Tampa Bay's run advantage over New York all year starts to feel like a footnote.
Vegas line: Yankees -130 (ML), Rays +109 (per ESPN/DraftKings). Run line: Yankees -1.5 (+142). Total: 6.5.
Also tonight
- White Sox at Guardians (5:00 PM ET, TBS/truTV). The other ALDS on the board. Chicago and Cleveland split the opener, and Anthony Kay starts for the White Sox against Gavin Williams with the series tied at one.
- Flyers at Lightning (7:00 PM ET). Philadelphia is off to a rough start at 0-1-2 while Tampa Bay sits 1-1-0 in its first week back.
- Senators at Bruins (7:30 PM ET). Boston is unbeaten at 2-1-0 to open the year and hosts an Ottawa team that's 1-0-0.
- Jets at Penguins (7:30 PM ET). Pittsburgh is a perfect 2-0-0 early, with Winnipeg coming in at 1-0-1.
- Sharks at Stars (8:00 PM ET). San Jose has opened 2-0-0 while Dallas is still looking for its first win at 0-2-0.
- Falcons at Saints (8:15 PM ET, ESPN). Monday Night Football closes the slate with two 1-2 NFC South teams both trying to avoid falling further behind.
Baseball is the story tonight, but the night doesn't let up once the first pitch is in. Three NHL season-openers and the lone NFL game of the day run alongside two simultaneous ALDS games, so there's a reason to have a second screen on no matter which series you're following.
