Nike releases the Kobe 10 Protro "5AM Flight" on October 5 for $200, bringing back the colorway that launched the Kobe 10 line in 2015. The style code is IQ5339-400.
The shoe is built on a Blue Lagoon engineered mesh upper with black Swooshes along the sides and red accents on the tongue and heel. The semi-translucent outsole from the original release returns, with a water-themed graphic hidden inside the tongue. The midsole carries Zoom Air cushioning with updated support systems.
The name traces back to a video Bryant posted in 2013 while recovering from a torn Achilles — footage of him diving into a swimming pool at 5 a.m. during the long rehab that followed the injury. Nike built the original Kobe 10 launch colorway around that image in 2015.
The "5AM Flight" joins a run of Kobe Protro releases this year, including the Kobe 3 Protro "Orca," which returned for the first time since 2008, and the Kobe Air Force 1 Low "Black/Purple Stardust," part of the same sub-line extending the Mamba catalog beyond its numbered signatures.
