Games to Watch — Monday, November 2: Bears Visit the Defending Champs
Bears at Seahawks headlines Week 8's Monday Night Football slate.

No picks model is live yet for this format, so tonight's lines are Vegas numbers on the marquee game only. Everything else below is straight schedule and context. Full slate and live odds at watch.uristocrat.com.

Week 8 closes with the Bears flying into Seattle to face the defending Super Bowl champs, while the NBA runs a 13-game Monday and college hoops opens its season with a pair of ranked top-25 matchups on TNT.

Marquee: Bears at Seahawks (8:15 PM ET, ESPN)

Chicago is 5-2 and riding a three-game AFC-slaying stretch into Lumen Field, where Seattle sits 4-3 and defending the title it won last February. The Seahawks have been dominant at home this season, and Monday night crowds there are as loud as it gets in the league. Bears receiver DJ Moore and Hawks edge threats on the other side of the ball are the two names worth tracking early. Chicago's offensive line banged up (II and Jackson listed questionable) will be tested against a Seattle front that's been getting after the quarterback all year.

Vegas line: Seahawks -4.5, total 46.5, Seahawks -170 / Bears +142 moneyline (ESPN Odds).

Also tonight

  • Thunder at Cavaliers (7:00 PM ET, NBCSN). Oklahoma City is banged up with Chet Holmgren and Wallace both out, which makes this a good look at how deep the Thunder's bench really is against a Cleveland team still finding its footing early in the year.
  • Gonzaga vs. Purdue (7:30 PM ET, TNT). The biggest non-conference college hoops game of the early season. Both programs are perennial tournament fixtures, and TNT picking it up for a Monday window tells you how much juice this one carries.
  • 76ers at Bulls (7:30 PM ET, NBA League Pass). Joel Embiid is day-to-day again, which has been the story of Philadelphia's season more than any opponent. Chicago's a young, fast team that wants to turn this into a track meet.
  • Celtics at Rockets (8:30 PM ET, NBA League Pass). Houston's been one of the league's early surprises. Boston's margin for error on the road against a physical, athletic Rockets roster is thin.
  • Golden Knights at Bruins (7:00 PM ET, NESN). Vegas comes in healthy and rolling. Boston's trying to keep pace in a crowded Atlantic Division race.
  • Arizona at UCLA (10:00 PM ET, TNT). A late West Coast window and another ranked season-opening test, this one in Pauley Pavilion.

Thirteen NBA games on one Monday is a lot of basketball, but the night belongs to Seattle. A loud building, a defending champion, and a Bears team that's quietly built a real resume is as good a Monday night as the league can offer in November.
