No pick model is live yet for the full slate, so only the marquee game below carries a Vegas line. The rest of tonight's games are listed straight, no picks attached. For the full daily schedule with live scores, head to watch.uristocrat.com.
The baseball season could end tonight in Cleveland. The White Sox won the first two games of this ALDS, the Guardians won the next two, and now it comes down to one game at Progressive Field. Pair that with a 13-game NHL slate just a week into the season and a handful of NBA preseason tune-ups, and Saturday has something for every sport.
Marquee: White Sox at Guardians, ALDS Game 5 (8:00 PM ET, TBS/truTV)
This series has gone back and forth from the start. Chicago stole the first two games in Cleveland, including a late comeback win, before the Guardians answered with a 9-3 blowout in Game 3 behind seven pitchers combining for 19 strikeouts. Game 4 in Chicago squared it at 2-2, setting up a decisive Game 5 back at Progressive Field. Cleveland hands the ball to Gavin Williams, Chicago counters with Sean Burke, and whoever wins moves on to the ALCS while the other goes home for the winter. Jose Ramirez has been quieter than usual at the plate this October, and Chicago will need more from Munetaka Murakami, their 35-homer bat, if the White Sox want to finish the upset.
Vegas line: Guardians -137 ML (White Sox +114), total 7, Cleveland -1.5 on the run line (+158), via ESPN.
Also tonight
- Toronto Maple Leafs at Colorado Avalanche (7:00 PM ET, NHL Network/Altitude Sports). One of twelve other NHL games on the board tonight as the league settles into its first full week of the season. Colorado opened hot; Toronto is still finding its footing.
- Minnesota Wild at Florida Panthers (6:00 PM ET, ESPN+/MINNHL). The defending conference contenders host a Wild team that's been one of the league's more efficient early scorers.
- Dallas Stars at Pittsburgh Penguins (7:00 PM ET, ESPN+). Two teams still working out their lines a week into the year.
- Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics (8:00 PM ET, NBA TV). Preseason, but it's the Celtics and Sixers, so expect starters to get real minutes before the regular season opens.
- San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns (10:30 PM ET, ESPN2). A late West Coast preseason look at two rosters still shaking out their rotations.
- LA Clippers at Toronto Raptors (6:30 PM ET). Part of the NBA's Canada Games slate, with both teams fresh off their season openers.
Everything else funnels back to one question tonight: does Cleveland's pitching staff hold up for nine more innings, or does Chicago's lineup finish what it started three weeks ago. Either way, one ALDS ends tonight.
