Jordan Brand releases the Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” on September 9, 2026, at $215 in adult sizes and $155 in grade school sizes. The style code is IV6508-030, and SneakerFiles reports it is a general release rather than a limited drop, available at Nike.com, Foot Locker, Finish Line, DSG, Hibbett and Shiekh.
The shoe lands during the second week of the US Open, which runs through the men’s final on September 13 in Flushing Meadows.
What the colorway is referencing
The shoe borrows from the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2, the 1990 model Andre Agassi wore during his early Nike years, whose neon and splatter print defined Nike Tennis in the early 1990s. Tinker Hatfield designed both the Air Jordan 7 and Agassi’s best-known Nike tennis models.
Retailer listings do not fully agree on the official color string. Sneaker Bar Detroit lists it as Phantom/Lime Blast-Pink Blast-Anthracite, while SneakerFiles lists Phantom/Lemon Twist-Pink Blast-Anthracite. Both describe the same shoe: an off-white base with a yellow-green accent, pink, and black. SneakerFiles notes Jordan Brand originally disguised the release as Phantom/Multi-Color/Multi-Color before the real names surfaced.
Build and details
Phantom leather forms most of the upper, joined by open mesh along the sides and forefoot and shaggy suede around the ankle. Translucent cutout panels appear on the sides.
The yellow-green accent outlines sections of the midsole, collar, tongue and lining. Pink Blast lands on the heel tabs and the outsole. Black laces, tongues and Jumpman logos hold the brighter shades down. Speckled detailing runs across the green midsole sections, a direct nod to the splatter print on the Air Tech Challenge 2, and SneakerFiles reports the ankle Jumpman swaps its basketball for what appears to be a tennis ball.
Where the Air Jordan 7 sits in the retro rotation
Sneaker Bar Detroit reports this is the first new adult Air Jordan 7 colorway since early 2023. It follows the Olympic-themed “Miro” pair, which returned on July 10 at $255 as the model’s first retro since 2008 and was also the first time that colorway reached a general release.
It also continues a run of tennis-heritage footwear returning to retail this year, alongside the adidas Billie Jean King 1974 signature shoe.
